- Expression of Interest are invited for Providing the Services for Gis-Based Network Analysis The Ethiopian Electric Power now invites eligible Individual Consultant to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individual Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The short listing criteria are: General Qualification MSC. Degree in information technology, GIS Based energy planning, Natural resource management or related coupled with a combination of professional training, certification and experience in GIS mapping /remote sensing. Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience Relevant Experience specific to the assignment Service includes but not limited to; Design GIS based energy and network analysis and planning IT infrastructure ,definition of hardware and software requirements implemented in EEP Develop Geo referenced database able to contain essential information for energy analysis and planning Develop simplified data management system to consolidate the primary information, compatible to ESRI ArcGIS QGIS: e.g Layer, field, attributes Develop multiple modules in the organization of the required information ; e.g GIS layer transmissions system and GIS layer energy resource Development of an easy to use mobile data collection application that permits to capture data in the field (with no internet connection) and then upload it to the data base by registered users Prepare an importation /exportation module that permits to send or upload the information Develop GIS based power network analysis model (PNAM) for existing system Develop GIS Based power network analysis model for system development plan (2021-2030) Produce set of GIS display and interactive maps that will enable different user access to layer of information and produced tailored reports Review the geographic data base and identify the base map to be linked to the Geo referenced data base (e.g. tsunami or river flooding maps, hydrographic and topographic maps, road maps, critical infrastructure such as clinic, police, bridges etc. Prepare pre-defined set of GIS display according to the needs, and the possibility of displaying interactive maps according to tailored needs.
