- Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Architectural Design Services for the Design and Contract Administration of New Staff Accommodation and Students Canteen Development within the School Compound. Bid closing date: Not later than 10 days of this advertisement. Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: Addis Ababa Sandford International School requires the services of a qualified and experienced consulting architects and engineering firm with a class one category and a minimum of ten years of work experience in the field for the provision of architectural design and contract administration services. We require this service from the initiation to the closing stage of two new major projects that are planned to be designed and constructed (staff accommodation block and student's canteen). In addition, to the design and contract administration of these two projects, the consulting architect and engineering firm is expected to assist and support the school administration in securing permits from the municipal authorities and also coordinate other subspecialty fields such as structural, mechanical, electrical, sanitary, low voltage and others under its office for further design development, supervision and execution of the two projects. For the purpose of establishing a contract, Sandford International School will undertake a competitive bidding exercise in the future and consider inviting those consulting architects and engineers' firms with Class One licenses that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill Sandford International School's requirement. Please note, that this is not an invitation to submission of a financial proposal. If you are interested and capable to provide these services, please send your expression of interest with the following documents; Your company's documents-Business Licence, Business Registration, TIN & VAT Certificate, Professional Accreditation for Class One Consulting Architects status, and Memorandum of Association Copies of relevant recommendations or references with their contact details (these are clients for whom you have provided such services in the past) SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES Interested consulting architects and engineering firms should submit their response to the following email addresses tadelo.ferede@sandfordschool.org within 10 days of this advertisement. All the details should be submitted in hardcopy sealed with the company's stamp to our school director's office in person and also electronically zipped to be sent as an email as guided below; If the file size is larger than 20MB, please share via WETRANSFER or Microsoft One Drive, or Google Drive. If the file is below 20MB, you can attach the details in the email response. NEXT STEPS: Once the responses are received our process will follow the steps below: Review of Submitted Expressions of Interest. Prequalification of Class One Shortlisted Consulting Architects and Engineers ServiceProviders Issuing of tender to prequalified Consulting Architects and Engineers NOTE: Only the Consulting Architect and Engineers who meet our minimum requirements will be considered for further discussions No financial should be provided with this EOI. The receipt of the response shall not bind Sandford International School to any contractual agreements with the prospective bidder. Such arrangements shall only come into place once the award has been issued to a successful bidder after a tender process. Any costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the EOI shall be borne by the EOI respondent.
