- Tenders are invited for Provision of External Audit The overall purpose of this assignment is to give the reasonable assurance that all income received and costs incurred in the current fiscal year are in accordance with the relevant policy of SOS Children's Villages Ethiopia (SOS CVE), compliance with the Government of Ethiopia's rules and regulation and produce a report as per related Accounting standard Objectives of the Audit 1. The objective of the audit is to enable the auditors to express an independent professional opinion on the financial position of SOS Children Villages Ethiopia (SOS CVE) and to ensure that the funds utilized for SOS CVE's activities have been used for their intended purposes. 2. The books of accounts of SOS CVE provide the basis for preparation of the SOS CVE's Financial Statements. Proper books of accounts as required by law have been maintained by SOS CVE and maintain adequate internal controls and supporting documentation for the transactions. Requirements for the Audit Firm A minimum of 6 years of work experience in external Audit work Demonstrable technical and practical knowledge in the area of NGO financial audit, expertise, and standard enforcement.
