Description:
The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, hereby seeks expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced vendors for the Provision of External Quality Assessment Services for the UN Health Care Center (UNHCC) clinical laboratory.Interested firms will be invited to participate in the upcoming tender exercise through a "Request for Quotation" (RFQ) at a later stage. This tender envisages to select capable and qualified firm to provide External Quality Assessment Service to UN Health Care Center laboratory at UNECA, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.The Provision of External Quality Assessment Services include:a) Provide the specified quality assurance samples for the tests identified by United Nations HealthCare Centre.b) Identify the schedule of tests to be performed monthly.c) Ensure timely and appropriate sample transport, using special packages according to the standards of sample transportation.d) Send the reporting forms to be filled by United Nations Health Care Centre Quality Control Officer (QCO) electronically. e) Send the feedback about the result within two weeks of receipt of reporting forms.Please note that the ECA is precluded f...
