- Tenders are invited for Purchase of Civil Explosives and Accessories 1. Dynamite (Super Power): qty 66950 kg 2. Electric Detonator: qty 12600 3. Initiator (Electric Caps Blasting Machine): qty 1 pcs 4. Measuring (Testing) instrument: qty 1 pcs Bids opening date: Dec 10, 2021 10:30 AM Bid document price: Birr 100.00 Bid bond: Birr 500,000.00 A complete set of the Bidding Document can be purchased by any interested bidders from the date of first announcement upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 100.00 (one hundred Birr) in cash from the Head office Finance Administrative Directorate 1st floor, office No. 135 Bidders should submit valid business license indicating the stream of business in which the Bidder is engaged, business registration certificate, tax payer registration certificate, Value Added Tax (VAT), Valid tax clearance used to participate for the Bid from Ethiopian Revenue & Customs Authority and suppliers registration certificate from public procurement & property Administration Agency (PPA) (mandatory for Domestic Bidders only) as well as Appropriate business organization registration certificate or business license issued by the country of establishment (foreign bidders only) and others as per the bid document. All Bids must be accompanied by bid security not more than 500,000.00 ETB or an equivalent amount in freely convertible currency. The bid bond must be in one of the following forms. i Certified Cash Payment Order (CPO) issued by a recognized domestic bank or in. Unconditional bank guarantee issued and/or by recognized domestic Bank iii. An irrevocable letter of credit issued and/or confirmed through a recognized domestic Bank, All bid bonds from a reputable source from any eligible country. Bid securities (bid bonds) issued by a foreign banks or financial institutions shall be counter-guaranteed by a recognized Ethiopian Bank.
