- Expression of Interest are invited for Road Safety Support in Ethiopia Under BIGRS. Publication Date: 11-Aug-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 25-Aug-2022 ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The main objective of this assignment is the preparation of technical road safety studies and their dissemination to inform the World Bank team on safety engineering measures that could save lives on selected roads in Ethiopia. This technical support has the objective of informing the World Bank team on additional safety measures that could save lives on roads according to international best practices. This assistance will be delivered through a series of technical reports for the World Bank team comprising of iRAP baseline and Star Rating for Design (SR4D) assessments, together with dissemination activities. These activities will inform the World Bank in the due diligence process for the ongoing operation in Ethiopia to ensure that project's roads include road safety best practices. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
