- Expression of Interest are invited for Selection of a Consulting Firm that provides Consultancy Services for the Development of High-Resolution Earth Observation Satellite Bid closing date: March 11, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. Local Time. Bid opening date: March 11, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. Local Time. Region: Addis Ababa The scope of the consultancy service will be mainly to provide support in the pre-procurement phase of the project which will have each of the following major deliverables but not limited to: Feasibility study report review; Providing support in early space mission analysis, concept definition, system an subsystem design, and operations architecture; In consultation with the client develop technical procurement documents for the turnkey satellite system development including detailed technical specifications for space segment, ground segment, and recommendations for launching services; Propose state-of-the-art satellite technology solutions and best available business options such as a single big satellite versus constellations of multiple small satellites; Propose project financing options and business operation modalities; Provide training to the project office and arrange international professional visits and exchange programs as required; Develop capacity building programs on system and subsystems levels both for the ground segment and space segment and technology knowhow to the local talent
