  • Expression of Interest are invited for Social Risks Analysis of the New Digital ID Program The World Bank is looking for a firm to conduct research in Ethiopia with the aim to understand key social risks and impacts of the new Digital ID program. The firm is expected to: (1) Identify the vulnerable groups that are most likely to be impacted by the new Digital ID program; (2) Identify social risks related to the implementation of the digital ID for the overall population in Ethiopia with an emphasis on vulnerable groups. The analysis is expected to cover both the risks linked to accessing identification in Ethiopia and specific difficulties that may be faced by the population in using identification for face-to-face and online services; and (3) Develop recommendations on how to minimize or reduce risks and possible negative impacts for each segment of the disadvantaged population, including the development of specific measures that could be adopted by the GoE throughout the lifetime of the digital ID program. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. Expressions of Interest should be submitted, in English, electronically through World Bank Group eConsultant2 (https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html)
