Tenders are invited for Procurement of Works, Supply and Lying of Pipes & Fittings, And Electromechanical Equipment. Bid closing date: January 25, 2023 at 3:00 PM Bid opening date: January 25, 2023 at 3:30 PM local time Region: Addis Ababa The Ministry of Water and Energy (MOWE) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having Grade 2 above of GC/WWC for the Procurement of Works, supply and lying of Pipes & fittings and electromechanical equipment. Bidders shall furnish documentary evidence that it meets the following requirement(s): Bidders must have undertaken at least 1 (one) Contracts successfully completed contract experience having an amount of 114,000,000.00(one hundred fourteen million birr) or equivalent with a similar Size, nature and complexity during the last 10 (ten) years supported with names of clients, type and value of contracts. Audited financial statements of the bidder for the last 5 (Five) years to confirm a minimum peak annual turnover of ETB be ETB 120,000,000.00 (one hundred twenty million) or equivalent The bidder shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the cash flow requirement of 37,000,000.00 (thirty seven million) or equivalent net of the applicant's other commitments. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Federal Public Procurement directive 2010 and is open to all eligible bidders. Bidders are required to attach with their application, a copy of their renewed trade licenses, VAT certificate, Tax clearance TIN certificate and (Registration in PPA supplier list for local bidders) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of water and Energy and inspect the bidding documents during office hour 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM local time at the address given below. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of none refundable fee of ETB 300.00 (Three Hundred birr) or equivalent All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand) or equivalent in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO to the Ministry of Water and Energy and shall remain valid for 148 (One Hundred forty eight) days. For Bank Guarantee the bidder must use the bank guarantee form included in section IV (Bid Form) of the bidding Document.
